Electronic Resources can be accessed from public computers in the library near the front door during open hours.
Online access to Deets Library electronic resources is limited to current Southwestern College ID holders.
State Library of Kansas online resources can be accessed online on the Main Campus. For off campus use, register for a State Library of KS library card at the library front desk.

Writing and Citation Resources: Give credit to your sources using in-text citations. List your sources' citations in a consistent format so the reader can read the source directly.
The Online Writing Lab at Purdue offers excellent information about writing and formatting both citations and papers.
American Psychological Association (APA) format is used for SC Professional Studies courses, Education, Psychology and other fields.
Modern Language Association (MLA) format is used in English Literature and other fields. Other format styles include Chicago/Turbian.
